As the year draws to an end and you’re putting away summer clothes, don’t forget about donating used clothing to charity. Charity Guide offers several tips on this.

Another benefit of donating clothing is the tax deduction you will receive if you ask for a receipt and list the items you donated. It’s up to you to fairly estimate the value.

Sending off your clothing to its second life is one of the greenest and kindest things you can do. And it sure beats sitting in a lawn chair during your yard sale.
