Not Just Earth Day

Yes, it’s almost Earth Day, April 22. Lots is going on. And it’s free.

Celebrate nature with free admission to all national parks. It’s National Park Week through April 24.

If that doesn’t fit in the schedule, visit a garden on Friday, May 6. Many botanic gardens are participating in National Public Gardens Day, but you’ll need a coupon for free admission.

For Earth Day events in your area, visit the Earth Day Network. Many events are listed, and some occur after April 22.

And don’t forget to do something sweet for the earth. Support the Coalition To Restore Coastal Louisiana or any other earth-friendly nonprofit.
