Recycle day

It was time for my first trip to the recycling bins. Remember, my apartments don’t have them, so it’s a semi-short drive down the road.

When I got to the drop-off, I saw an immediate problem. I thought I could just directly dump my recyclables into the bins, but the opening isn’t large enough. I’m guessing they make the openings small so that people won’t bring their regular trash there. So, I have to pick out items and place them in the bins. And I have to be careful since I left some steel lids in there.

But it was worth it. Recycling while living in an apartment isn’t that difficult after all.
