It's good to see you Virginia. I also had no idea they existed until Marye told me about them in comments at THF.

Sonya, thanks for visiting! This is also my first venture into silicone bakeware. I didn't really have a need to buy any before other than a silicone spatula.

Oh, very pretty indeed! I've never heard of individual silicone baking cups. I love my silicone utensils, like spatulas and tongs and spoons, but haven't ventured into bakeware yet. I'm going to have to check this out -- I've been using recycled paper baking cups and still feeling slightly guilty about it.

Those look really cool - I had no idea such things existed.

I've seen sil pats (the baking sheets) used both with and without cooking spray. In theory you shouldn't need any, but some people use the spray to help get things browned.

Thanks Jennifer and Marye!

Marye, do you use Wilton brand -- the "flying muffin" kind? ; )

I have not considered silicone baking sheets. Do they allow you to forgo the cooking spray?

I love them! I have been using them exclusively for over a year and they are holding up very well. The thing you really have to watch is that the muffins will slip out of the cups and fly across the room if you aren't careful
I also use silicon baking sheets over the cookie sheets for cookies and things and they work great as well.

Nice! I'm so glad you got some. And yes, they do look pretty in the bubbles. Marye will be thrilled her idea made a difference. I'll have to let her know.
