Privacy + Disclosures

FTC, Giveaways, Reviews

You’ll also notice reviews on Light Green Stairs. While I may sometimes receive a free product for review, I’m never paid to do reviews. And I always disclose inside the post when I’ve received a free product for review. This blog complies with FTC guidelines for bloggers. Plus, I promise I’ll never pretend to like a product just cause I got it for free.

For giveaways, the prize will nearly always be coming to you directly from the contest sponsor. That’s just simply a greener way to handle it. So, the only time I’ll share your contact info with marketing professionals is if you win a contest. Even then, the information is only used to ship the prize to you. Typically, items that I give away are provided by contest sponsors who offer a free prize(s) to readers. However, I’m never paid by contest sponsors for hosting contests.

Amazon (No longer adding affiliate links, but they could be present in old posts.)

Peggy (that’s me) is a participant in the Amazon Services LLC Associates Program, an affiliate advertising program designed to provide a means for sites to earn advertising fees by advertising and linking to amazon.com. Click here to read the amazon privacy policy.
