Arugula May Fight Ulcers (plus it’s pretty)

Arugula is an intriguing leafy green. It tastes spicy in a very natural and groovy way. That makes it a popular addition to salads, but have you thought about potential health benefits?

Its seems odd that a spicy food could help prevent stomach ulcers, but research suggests that.

Researchers at the King Saud University in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia found that arugula extracts had anti-ulcer activity in rats!

Arugula (also known as rocket) contains several antioxidants, but researchers believe that the anti-ulcer benefit may come from its ability to mediate prostaglandin activity.

    ulcer is quite painful and sometimes it is deadly too, my grandmother died from ulcer”..
