Book Contest: It’s a Jungle Out There!

June 20th, 2011

Jennifer Ward, author of I Love Dirt!, has a new book, It’s a Jungle Out There!: 52 Nature Adventures for City Kids.

It’s a Jungle Out There! is a nature activity and adventure guide for city parents and kids ages 4 to 8 years. The book includes some simple observation activities, but also more involved activities like making an “Easy Breezy Wind Sock” or “Leaf-licious Mobile.”

What’s really nice too is that the very cute and compact book is printed on recycled paper in the United States. The awesome illustrations are by Susie Ghahremani.

Enter to win a copy of It’s a Jungle Out There! by leaving a comment on this post before 11 p.m. on Thursday, June 30. The randomly selected winner has five days to respond to my email requesting a mailing address before another winner is chosen. Please check your spam filter so you don’t miss out.

Good luck and happy nature adventures.

(I received a complimentary review copy of this book. Please see Privacy and Disclosures for more information.)

UPDATE 7/6: Congrats to the winner, Melody Watts!
