How much of this could have been recycled?

How can I go from posting about cute lunch bags to this ugly photo? It’s what’s in my world. If you’ve been reading my blog from the beginning, you know that my apartments don’t provide recycling bins and my city won’t provide recycling services for large apartment complexes.

I drive my recycling down the road a few miles every two weeks. Last week I noticed that one of the local papers did a story on what’s lacking in the city’s recycling services. Well, this would be the perfect time for me to follow up with a letter to the editor about what else is missing that they didn’t mention. I need to remind them that we also need recycling at apartments and we want plastics higher than #1 and #2 to be accepted.

So, that’s one of my new goals. Please nag me by comments if I don’t post the letter here in the next few days. Thanks!
