thinksport Bottle Update

August 16th, 2010

Things have been hot, but my water stays cool.

Last December, I reviewed the thinksport insulated bottle.

Eight months later, I still like my thinksport bottle. I’ve now had the opportunity to use it during one of the hottest summers on record. In my area, we’ve had the highest heat indices in the country on several days. It’s gotten up to the 120 heat index range with temps hovering in the low 100s. Disgusting, yes very.

I’ve left my bottle out by the pool in the full sun for hours, and the water was still cool and refreshing. I’ve also left the bottle inside my car that got to hellish temps while I shopped, and the water — still cold! However, the surface of the bottle can get hot.

So, have you any doubts that this is one of the very best insulated bottles you can buy?

And, of course, it’s BPA free and way easy to clean with the wide mouth. The plastic piece that held the cap attached to the neck broke about a month ago. I cut it off and haven’t missed it. Yes, it may be easier to lose the cap now, but I think the bottle looks much cleaner without it.

What do you think of your thinksport bottle? Do you have a favorite insulated water bottle?

Disclaimer: I received the thinksport bottle at no charge for review purposes last year.
