Drink to the Tap Project This Weekend

March 19th, 2009

For very little money you can help make a big difference in the lives of people lacking clean drinking water. According to Unicef, “Lack of safe water and sanitation is the world’s single largest cause of illness.”

The Tap Project, March 22-28, collects donations through participating restaurants. You pay $1 or more for a glass of water that would normally be free. Just $1 will help Unicef provide a child with clean drinking water for 40 days.

The Tap Project is part of World Water Day on March 22.

Please help spread the word about the Tap Project and World Water Day.
