ABC Gets Messages

October 22nd, 2008

I posted several days ago about the TV Ad That ABC Refused to Air and also sent a message to ABC via wecansolveit.org.

Here’s what’s been happening:

• More than 220,000 messages objecting to ABC’s refusal to air the Repower ad spot have been delivered to ABC.

•Lots of buzz — The Repower spot was viewed more than 200,000 times online!

It’s not too late to send a message. ABC still refuses to air this ad about pushing back on the influences of oil and coal companies.

TV Ad That ABC Refused to Air

October 11th, 2008

Please take a look at the ad below from wecansolveit.org. Wondering why ABC refused to air it recently?

Me too! ABC says that they have a problem with the Capitol building image in the ad. This sounds like censorship. Other networks, including CBS and CNN, aired the ad. Do you think the Capitol image carries with it an implied message? To me, it simply means that the government could help us solve the energy crisis if they chose. To ABC, it meant something else. Ask them to explain themselves.
