Zoo Babies to Hug and Squeeze!

October 21st, 2010

The closest many of us will come to adorable zoo babies is checking them out in pics, but you can give a whole book full of those adorable images while also supporting animal conservation.

ZooBorns is one of my favorite websites. And now they’ve published a new book, ZooBorns

In case you’re not familiar, ZooBorns is the best place on the Internet to find the most astonishing, often behind-the-scenes, photos of newborn zoo animals. You’d have to have a hard, hard heart not to smile at such sweet young life.

Perhaps the most wonderful thing about the new ZooBornsbook is that 10% of all revenue from sales goes directly to the Association of Zoos and Aquariums Conservation Endowment Fund.

Disclosure: I will be receiving a free review copy of ZooBorns (Simon & Schuster; November 2, 2010; 978-1439195314).

Please check back in a few weeks for a book review, but if you just can’t wait, here’s a bit of what to expect: A cute showcase of the youngest and most adorable animal babes from accredited zoos and aquariums around the globe! The collection of images highlights the connection between the zoo births and conservation initiatives in the wild.

Are you adding ZooBorns to your holiday shopping list?
