The first time I brought my groceries home in my reusable shopping bags, I got out the digital camera. Then I decided I could not post that photo. Inside my reusable bags, I had plastic bags with produce in them. Why?
I’ll agree that cashiers have a hard enough time without you skipping the produce bags on things like string beans. However, I found myself putting one lemon in a bag. Two tomatoes. Two bananas. It’s just a bad habit. There’s no reason for it.
During my last trip, I resisted the produce baggage. Now my lemon is nestled safely inside my fridge. No need for plastic wrap!
