Used Cardboard Boxes

I mentioned, uh complained, early on here about how my apartments don’t offer recycling bins because my city won’t service apartment complexes. So, I drive my recycling a couple of miles away. It’s not too bad, I suppose.

But, recently the city moved the cardboard box drop-off to an obscure location away from the drop-offs for glass, plastic, steel, paper and aluminum. That stinks. And you know why they did it?

Well, because businesses were dropping off their boxes too. And it’s not for them.

That brings me to my point.

If you work for a business that receives a lot of shipments in cardboard boxes, tell them about UsedCardboardBoxes.com. The site will rescue the boxes! Oh, and you can also buy good quality used cardboard boxes from them too.

I take my boxes and packing to UPS. It’s not recycled, it’s reused. It uses less energy to reuse something, than to recycle it, so I’m ahead of the game. Of course, I always hope the last person to use it recycles it too.

Hey esther and dh. Thanks for stopping by.

dh, I often wonder whether the “last person” recycles too!
